Boy, 17, stabbed to death outside primary school

A 17-year-old boy has been stabbed to death near a primary school in the east of London.

The teenager was found injured just after 9pm on Longshaw Road in Chingford, close to Longshaw Primary School.

Members of the public and emergency services tried to save his life, with paramedics and an air ambulance attending.

However, the boy later died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

The Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation into the incident, but no arrests have been made.
